Reconstructing the world's first public opera house and with it bringing investment, regeneration and a sustainable future for Venice and indeed opera
It was wonderful to meet with the British Consulate in Milan and to share the incredible opportunity that the Teatro San Cassiano offers both Italy and the UK. Huge thanks to Serena Corti and Anthea Zanella for sharing the vision with such energy. Thanks also to Michael Jolly and the Department of Business and Trade.

We are so proud that the Department for Business and Trade supports this wonderful project aimed at restoring historically-informed Baroque opera to Venice by reconstructing the world's first public opera house: the Teatro San Cassiano of 1637.
